There’s always something new to learn, try, and experience at UFM.

Explore Your Interests

UFM’s Community Enrichment Classes give youth the opportunity to learn beyond the traditional classroom. Classes are led by community instructors who share their knowledge, skills, talents, and passions with the next generation.

Youth classes and activities may include:

  • Arts & Creativity – Explore art, crafts, music, creative projects, and other ways to express yourself.
  • Martial Arts – Build confidence, discipline, focus, and physical fitness.
  • Recreation & Fitness – Get moving through sports, games, fitness, and active recreation.
  • Fun Foods – Learn about cooking, food preparation, nutrition, and kitchen skills.
  • Personal Interests – Discover new hobbies, skills, and areas of curiosity.
  • Career & Finance – Begin developing practical skills for school, work, financial literacy, and the future.
  • Youth Experiences – Participate in hands-on activities designed specifically for young learners.

Learning at UFM is about more than sitting in a classroom. Our approach is experiential: DO → REFLECT → APPLY.

ABLE: After-School Building Leadership & Enrichment

Teen Mentoring

Young people learning from—and leading—young people.

UFM’s Teen Mentoring Program gives teens opportunities to build leadership skills while making a difference in younger students’ lives.

Teen mentors gain experience in:

  • Leadership and communication
  • Mentoring and relationship-building
  • Responsibility and teamwork
  • Civic engagement and community service
  • Working with children
  • Planning and facilitating activities

Through mentoring, teens don’t just gain skills—they become positive role models and active contributors to their community.
